One of the nicest parts of moving to Robertson has been discovering just how many people travel with their dogs.
As the owners of two rescued greyhounds ourselves — Chelsea and Patch — we know that dogs are family, and that leaving them behind can sometimes change the entire shape of a trip. We also know how hard it can be to find accommodation that feels genuinely welcoming to dogs, rather than merely tolerant of them.

There’s a secure private courtyard, plenty of nearby walking spots, and cool Highlands air that seems to suit dogs particularly well — especially those who enjoy a good sniff and a dramatic nap afterwards.
Robertson itself is wonderfully dog-friendly. You’ll often find locals with their dogs outside cafés, wandering through town, or exploring nearby nature spots and gardens. It’s the sort of place where life moves a little more slowly, which suits both humans and dogs.
We do ask guests travelling with dogs to be respectful of the space and future visitors, just as we do ourselves with our own dogs at home. Our aim is to create accommodation that feels calm, welcoming, and comfortable for everyone staying here.
