About the property
Built in 1898, the church has lived a few different lives — including a brief stint storing film props during the production of Babe.

Located in the heart of Robertson in the Southern Highlands, you’re within walking distance of the local pub, bowling club, grocer, and a handful of excellent cafés, with waterfalls and bushwalks just a short drive away.

The church now offers two stays: a one-bedroom apartment suited to two guests, and a larger two-bedroom apartment that accommodates up to four.

Angel Place bedroom
The bedroom is anchored by a floor-to-ceiling artwork, creating a space that feels more like a private gallery than a place to sleep.

Morning light filters through coloured glass windows, casting soft tones across the room, while layered textures and antique details make it feel warm, enclosed, and quietly indulgent.

The bed itself is new and deeply comfortable — the kind you sink into at the end of a long day exploring the Highlands, or never quite feel like leaving in the morning.

  • Brand new hotel-quality bed
  • Electric blanket for colder nights
  • Chaise lounge
  • Extra pillows and blankets
  • Coloured glass windows
  • Curated artwork throughout

Living area

The living area is open, light-filled, and quietly comfortable — set beneath high ceilings with arched windows that carry the character of the original church.

It’s a space to settle into, whether that’s with a book, a slow morning coffee, or a quiet evening in. The proportions of the room do most of the work — giving you space to breathe without ever feeling empty.

There’s a smart TV for when you feel like switching off properly, but the space is just as suited to doing very little at all.

The Bathroom
The bathroom is contemporary and well-appointed, with a rainfall shower, heated towel rail, and a clean, simple finish that mirrors the rest of the space.
